My First Offical Vacation

We went to Kansas City and stayed in a hotel for two nights! As everyone knows that I love trains well Kansas City is full of train stuff. Every corner that you turn there is a train display. I love watching them go around and around. We visited Union Station and saw real trains on real tracks blowing there whistles. Yes, they scared me when we were so close to them and they blew their whistles but I still enjoyed watching them go by.

At Union Station they have a place called Science City. It had a bunch of science related toys. Everything there was for educational purposes, but felt just like a big playground. When you walk around it feels like you are walking around a miniature city. You walk on mini streets and there are sewer drains and buildings that you go in. I had a lot of fun there and of course there was a mini train display there, too.

We ate at Crown Center Plaza at a restaurant called Fritz. The owner had created a train that goes along the ceiling and delivers your food. Of course, I loved watching it go by. Another restaurant that we ate at was TREX. It had a bunch of dinosaurs that move and make noise.

While we were in Kansas City my mom got a hold of her cousin Jessica and we met her and her boyfriend Aaron for dinner.

The last night that we were there we went swimming in the hotel pool. At first I was a little reserved, I haven't really liked being in swimming pools before but after being in for a little while I really began to love it. I got really upset when we had to get out of the pool.

I can't wait to go on my next vacation!
