Halloween

I am Buzz Lightyear! Buzz Lightyear to the rescue!!! I Love being Buzz!

And Another Zoo

I love seeing all the animals! Anytime we go to a different city we always try to make it to the zoo. We even have a zoo pass to the local zoo in our city which gets us discounts at most other zoos so why not go to all of them. Since it is getting cold outside I don't think that we are going to make it to anymore zoos this year though. I can't wait until next year!

Another zoo

Mom, dad and I took a trip down to the Kansas City Zoo. They have a lot of animals. I love animals! It was a very big zoo. They even had elephants though I was sleeping when we went to see them. We will have to go back because we didn't plan on how big it was and we didn't even see all of it.

No more Diapers!

No more diapers for me, I am a big boy now!

Adventureland

It has been awhile but we have just been so busy this summer. We spent a week at the lake house over the Fourth of July. A lot of my family were there and we even took a trip to Adventureland! I rode on a lot of kiddy rides and loved them.

Going to the Lake House

Next week we are going to spend the week at the lake house. I can't wait to be able to spend the week with my family. Remy and Leighton will be there. We are also going to Adventureland. I am not sure what it is but daddy thinks that I will have a lot of fun there. He talks about all the kiddy rides that I can go on. I am getting so excited! I need to pack my bag! Bye.

Going to the farm

A couple of weeks ago we visited Living History Farms. I got to ride on a cart pulled by a tractor. We saw a baby cow. I petted a horse, and chased after some chickens. I liked learning about how things were done in the olden days. We walked on some long trails.

Sesame Street Live

I went to Sesame Street Live and got to see Elmo and Abby! I got to go with my cousin Remy. We had a great time except I thought it was too long of a show. I was ready to go after about a half an hour. I still watched the rest of the show but I did keep bugging mom and dad that it was over even when it wasn't.

The Zoo

Mom and Dad took me to the zoo. We bought a zoo membership so that we can go back anytime we want. Our zoo is pretty small but they still have a lot of animals to look at. The only thing that they didn't have working was the train. I can't wait to go to a bigger zoo soon. Mom and Dad told me that they are planning on taking me to the Omaha zoo and Kansas City Zoo for sure this summer. I can't wait!

Enjoying the Great Outdoors

The weather has been so nice lately, minus all the rain. I love being outside.
I am trying to figure out my new bike that Uncle Justin and Sarah got me for my birthday. I am still a little shaky and unsure or it.
I love kicking a ball and mom and dad found this soccer set for me. I can't wait until next year when I can actually play on a team.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Hey everyone, I am 2 years old!

Saturday I had my birthday party at a park in Altoona right behind Grandma Connie and Grandpa Dave's house. We ate walking tacos and cake. By the way my cake was awesome! My mom made it for me. It was shaped like a firetruck. All the decoration matched the cake.

I got a lot of presents for my birthday, so many that I lost interest in unwrapping then after a few and mom and my cousin Remy had to finish them for me.

A lot of my family and friends celebrated with me. I really had fun playing with them on the playground and I really liked being pulled around in my wagon.

I played so much and was so worn out that my terrible twos came out that night. I through the biggest fit for about 10 minutes flailing around on the floor. I was too tired to know what I was doing or even what I wanted.

That night when I went to bed, dad and Uncle Brad had taken down my crib and mom and Aunt Jenn put together my new toddler bed. I have slept good in it every night so far.

Then on Sunday I woke up to my Easter basket and an Easter egg hunt that the Easter Bunny left me. Mom and Dad took me out for lunch and then stopped by Chucky Cheeses. That afternoon mom and I went to Grandma Penny and Grandpa Don's house. I played outside for awhile and then went inside and colored Easter eggs.

I had the best birthday/Easter!

Playing in Washington

We went to Washington to visit my cousins Remy and Leighton on Wednesday. Grandma Connie, Brad and Ner also were there. We went to a park and played and played and played. There was a lot of different thing to do at that park. I loved swinging and going down the slides. We even flew a couple of kites. I only let go of them a couple of times but they didn't go far. Then we went back to their house and grilled out for dinner. Remy and I played some more with her toys and when it was bed time mom and dad put on my pjs and we hit the road to come back home. What a fun day!

My First Offical Vacation

We went to Kansas City and stayed in a hotel for two nights! As everyone knows that I love trains well Kansas City is full of train stuff. Every corner that you turn there is a train display. I love watching them go around and around. We visited Union Station and saw real trains on real tracks blowing there whistles. Yes, they scared me when we were so close to them and they blew their whistles but I still enjoyed watching them go by.

At Union Station they have a place called Science City. It had a bunch of science related toys. Everything there was for educational purposes, but felt just like a big playground. When you walk around it feels like you are walking around a miniature city. You walk on mini streets and there are sewer drains and buildings that you go in. I had a lot of fun there and of course there was a mini train display there, too.

We ate at Crown Center Plaza at a restaurant called Fritz. The owner had created a train that goes along the ceiling and delivers your food. Of course, I loved watching it go by. Another restaurant that we ate at was TREX. It had a bunch of dinosaurs that move and make noise.

While we were in Kansas City my mom got a hold of her cousin Jessica and we met her and her boyfriend Aaron for dinner.

The last night that we were there we went swimming in the hotel pool. At first I was a little reserved, I haven't really liked being in swimming pools before but after being in for a little while I really began to love it. I got really upset when we had to get out of the pool.

I can't wait to go on my next vacation!

Playing with my Cousins

Saturday my cousins came up to grandma and grandpa's house for the weekend. We played all day Saturday and then I even spent the night and got to play with them all morning on Sunday. I love playing with them and wish that we lived closer so we could play more. Hopefully we will be able to spend a lot of time together this summer at the lake house.

It was also Grandpa Dave's birthday and Great Grandma Bert's birthday. We were supose to get together for a little party at grandma and grandpa's but the weather wasn't the greatest so only great grandma, great grandpa and Uncle Rick made it for the party. We still had fun.

2009 the new year!

It is now 2009! This year I will turn 2. Though mom and dad think that I am already there because I have the terrible twos. I scream and throw fits when I don't get my way. I hate putting on a coat, getting in the car, sitting in a cart or riding in my stroller. I just want to be free, to be able to run through a store or pick up anything that I want, what is wrong with that? I have been refusing to go to bed at night, too. How long do you think that I will be able to get away with being terrible two?

Here are some pictures from Imagine Eve, mom took me for New Years Eve. I had fun but we had to wait in really long lines so I didn't get to do much. They had fireworks afterward and I really like fireworks.

Gage and I playing with my train and opening Christmas presents from each other.
