Santa Rocks!

Santa brought me a train table!!! He is the greatest man alive!!!

So I have been sick all week. Last Sunday night it all started with the flu, I threw up in my bed and then it continued all day Monday. I still didn't feel good for Christmas. I wasn't really my self. I just wanted to be held and I got very overwhelmed with all the people, which I usually love being around a lot of people. I really didn't open very many presents, mom and dad had to open most of them for me. But I loved everything that I got!

New Years Eve is coming up and mom said that she might take me to Imagine Eve. I have never been before but she thinks that I will like it, and I'm sure that I will.

Merry Christmas

Only 4 days until Christmas. I asked Santa to bring me a train. I can't wait until Christmas morning to see if he brought me one.

I helped mom and grandma Connie bake sugar cookies. I was a mess but so was mommy.

A few weeks ago I watched Haley and Hanna at a climbing competition. I really wanted to enter the competition myself. After watching them for awhile I learned how to do it myself.

Santa Scary

Well mom and dad keep taking me by Santa at the mall, but I only want to see him from a far. When I say "Santa scary" I would think that they would get over the whole Santa thing. They keep thinking that I will get over it but little do they know I will not. I really like trains and they have those right by Santa at the mall. I was a little scared the first time I rode the train at the Festival of Trees but I just rode the train at the mall the other night and I loved it. I even got to ring the bell. Can I get one of those for Christmas? Maybe if I do the whole Santa's lap thing I will get one, we will see.

The other day mom thought it would be a good idea to take me outside to play in the snow at grandma and grandpa's house. I hated it! I was so bundled up that I really couldn't move. When grandpa got out a sled being outside was a little bit fun but it didn't last long.

Holiday Time

Thanksgiving came and passed, I really had no clue that it was a holiday. We went to Grandma Penny and Grandpa Don's Wednesday night for the usual taco dinner. I played with my cousins. The next day we went to Grandma Connie and Grandpa Dave's house. It was really busy there. They had a lot of extended family there. The only other little kid was Kenzie my 2nd cousin. I was really worn out after all the running around. The next day mom and Aunt Jen went shopping before I ever got out of bed. I hope they got me some great Christmas presents.

We put up decorations for Christmas. I love all the lights. Our tree has a lot of balls on it that mommy and daddy said I can't play with. I really like them. I also like seeing all the decorations at the stores and mall.

Trick or Treat

Halloween is such a fun time. I get to see all my favorite characters from all my favorite shows plastered on kids. I sometimes think that the are real. Everyone said that I made a cutie kangaroo but I really didn't like to wear it. I scored a lot of candy for my mom and dad. They did let me have a few pieces but grandma gave me the most. Remy and I went to Night Eyes, we wore our costumes but Remy's was covered by a coat. We had a lot of fun riding the train, trick or treating and playing at the play area. I can't wait to go again next year!

Fall is a great time of year!

I love the change of the seasons! The weather has been so nice, I love being outside. I have been camping with grandma and grandpa, or at least visiting them when they are camping. Last week, Mommy, Daddy and Aunt Heather took my cousins and I to the pumpkin patch. I rode in my wagon most of the time. I picked out a couple of little pumpkins and tried to take a bite out of one. It didn't taste very well.

It has been a long time!

Okay so it has been a long time. Mom absolutely hates our computer and it is a pain to spend any long period of time on. Our monitor is back behind our couch and the keyboard always double type letters (which probable has to do a lot with the fact that I like to play with it), so mom and dad are saving up to get a new laptop, but of course mommy wants the most expensive one. Also mom hasn't sent out any pictures lately either because she again hates our computer.
I am almost 17 months already and I am growing up so fast. I can say a lot of words and make a lot of animal sound. I love cars and trains. I also love being outside, thought it is getting a little cold out. Camping has been fun also, and I got to ride a three-wheeler with grandpa.

This summer has been full of a lot of things. We have spent time at the lake house and I have got to play with my cousins a lot. I have a new baby cousin! Her name is Leighton and I love to hold her. We all went on a train ride together. I have also spent a lot of time at parks going down slides (at first I didn't like them but now I love them). I spent 5 days at the state fair! Grandma and grandpa were volunteering there so I visited them a few times. I loved seeing all the animals at the fair, they really helped me learn my animal sounds. I went to the balloon festival again just like last year. I have played a lot with my friend Gage.

I could go on and on but I am getting very sleepy, so I should go to bed now. I will talk to you later! Bye!

My First Easter

Easter was so much fun. I loved waking up Easter morning and finding the Easter eggs hiding with my toys.

Remy and I sat on the Easter bunny's lap.

My First Haircut

My mom and dad took me to the salon to get my first haircut! I look so handsome.

Happy

Hi. How is everyone doing? I am great! I only have 25 days until my BIRTHDAY! I am still not walking but hopefully soon. I got my two front top teeth a few weeks ago. Now I can really bite. I love to hit people too, though nobody really likes it.

I am really glad that the snow is melting so that we can go out side to play. The other day it was so nice that mom and dad took me out without my winter coat but I had a zip up sweatshirt on. This snow drift is almost gone now. Maybe 6 inches left of it.

New Year

Okay it's been a long time. Our laptop screen went out and it made it really hard to get online. So I am going to try to update you with all that you have missed. First of all Happy New Year. This year will be filled with a lot of firsts for me. I will turn 1 in April and celebrate my first birthday. Mom and dad say that I am growing so fast. Soon I will be walking. I walk with a walker and cruse furniture. I crawl really fast and can pull myself up easily. I like to crawl after the cats. They use to be able to get away from me by going under the coffee table but now I have figured out how to get under it too. There is no safe place for them now.

I am eating all finger foods now. I love feeding myself, I use a spoon and fork but mom or dad has to fill it first and then I will stick it in my mouth. So far I eat just about anything, not really picky.

I started talking. I say dadda quite a bit and sometimes mamma. I also say kitty though it sounds like I am spitting when I say it. I am now saying stinky and moo (or boo).

I had a great Christmas. I love all the presents that I have gotten. I had a lot of fun tearing the paper off of the presents. We had a lot of running around to go to everyones house and that made me a little tired in the end, so I was a little cranky. All the decorations were neat to look at and sometimes I tried to play with them but mom and dad wouldn't let me. They said that I would pull the tree over on me so I couldn't touch the tree, I don't think that I could be that strong.

Thanksgiving was a lot more relaxing than Christmas. We stopped by Aunt Heather's house for a little bit then we went to Grandma Penny and Grandpa Don's house.

Halloween was so much fun. I dressed up as a giraffe. Everyone kept saying how cute I was. Mom and Dad took me to the zoo for Night Eyes, and then mom, dad, grandma Connie, Uncle Brad and Aunt Jenn went to a pumpkin patch and Living History Farms for their trick or treating. On Halloween I went to Aunt Heather's house to help pass out candy to the trick or treaters.
